For this Midweek Advent series, we journey back to the ancient prophecies of hope with our new sermon series, "Coming Home for Christmas" based in the book of Isaiah. The prophet Isaiah spoke to a people facing judgment, exile, and the anxieties of a turbulent world, yet his message was ultimately one of extraordinary restoration and the glorious promise of Immanuel, "God with us." As we long for peace and belonging this time of year, Isaiah points us to our ultimate Christmas gift: Jesus, the promised King from the root of Jesse, who came to rescue us from our spiritual exile and bring us into his eternal, safe embrace. Join us as we explore powerful passages that reveal how the birth and second coming of Jesus complete Isaiah's vision—not just promising us a holiday, but our forever Home in His Kingdom.

Christmas Concert and Reception
Saturday December 13th at 7 pm
Please come and bring friends to our "Gloria in excelsis Deo!" Concert featuring our choir in Beautiful Renaissance attire singing a variety of songs sure to inspire and entertain. The concert is psented by Messiah Music Ministry's talented choir, bell choir and instrumentalists. After the concert all are invited to a delicious Wassail and dessert reception in the beautifully decorated Ministry Center (gym). Guests will share a toast of warm mulled cider and at the end of the evening we close with Silent Night. What a wonderful opportunity to invite an unchurched friend to hear the story of Christ's birth in word and song. The concert is free; donations to the music ministry designated fund are gratefully accepted during the free will offering.
Kick OFF the Advent Season with FAMILY Advent Nativity MAKING!
All households are invited to join us for a special kick off to the Advent Season!
Sunday, November 30: 9:45-10:45AM (this will take the place of Sunday School that morning) in the Ministry Center (Gym). Each interested individual/family/household will work together to make a Nativity that can be used throughout the Christmas season (and be re-used year after year) for devotions and celebration. Tidings of Comfort and Joy!
December 21
Join us for this family event at 9:45AM. This is also a no rehearsal run through of the Christmas story on Sunday December 22nd at 9:45AM in the CLC center. Get familiar with the story and meaning of Christmas in an interactive way. This is for ALL ages. Just connect with the comfort and joy of Christmas and take what we learned and incorporate it into the 11am worship service that morning. We hope families and all ages will plan to join us that morning to experience the Christmas story in a new way.
