Holy Smokes! Fun Family Church Picnic with Waterslide. September 13th!

WHO: For every church member, family member and friend of Messiah Lutheran Church!

WHAT: The THIRD annual church picnic.

WHEN: Sunday, September 13, 2026.   There will be a COMBIINED service at 10:00

(to include the Hispanic Ministry) and the festivities will follow (around 11:15 am). 

WHERE: In the Ministry Center and all around the campus of Messiah Lutheran Church

WHY: Because this is how we roll!!

HOW: (much more do I need to know):

· It's a potluck.  The church will provide hamburgers/hotdogs and beverages.  You bring the rest!

· Games/activities will follow around 12:15 until 2:15 or so.  Games will include: Bobbing for Apples, 3-Legged Race, Cake Walk, Watermelon Seed Spitting and a WATER SLIDE -- Dress appropriately..... (and the list goes on)!

WE NEED YOUR HELP for set-up/clean-up, working in the kitchen, grilling,

supervising the games, and anything else I can think of. 

Sign up sheets will be on the table in the breezeway 

There is also a list of donations that we need, such as: Toilet Paper, Baked Goods for the Cake Walk, TENTS for shade. Sign up in the breezeway or calling the church office at 813.961.2182
