Did you enjoy the extra hour from the time change this weekend? When you suddenly get "extra time," what is your default instinct (sleep, scroll, catch up on work), and what does that reveal about how you view your schedule?
When we feel like we are running out of time, the people around us start to feel like burdens. What is a recent time you felt frustrated by an "interruption" that was actually an opportunity to love a neighbor?
Read Luke 10: 25-37. The lawyer wanted to justify himself and basically asked Jesus to validate how well he was using his time and loving the "right" neighbors. Why do we so often try to prove our worth by showing God (and others) how busy and optimized we are?
Read Ecclesiastes 3:1-13. There is a time and a season for everything, and that the toil of our daily lives is actually a gift. How does knowing that Jesus has already secured your eternity change the way you view the "wasted" or "inefficient" moments of your day today?
