1. Describe a time when you tried to follow God, but things didn’t go as planned.

2. Read 1 Kings 19:1-21. Elijah expected God to show up in the wind, earthquake, or fire, but God spoke in a whisper. Where are you currently looking for a "loud," obvious sign from God, and how might you need to quiet yourself to hear His whisper?

3. When you are stressed or burned out, in what ways do you become critical or judgmental of the people around you?

4. How does knowing that the weight of the world is on Jesus' humble shoulders (not yours) change the way you approach your daily tasks this week?
